The Troop will meet at the VFW at 5:30 pm for a 6:00 departure for Camp Roosevelt.

The weather looks dry for Friday and Sat – but cold.

Prepare for cold weather:
Warm insulated boots
Thick socks
Long Underwear
Warm layers
Gloves
Stocking Cap

Equipment:
We are sleeping in lean-to’s at Roosevelt.
Bring a pad to sleep on
A zero-degree bag is recommended. If you do not have one, put two lighter weight bags inside the other.
Bring an extra blanket – I have a zero bag and still use an old comforter as an extra blanket.

Have a change of dry clothes to sleep in Saturday night. Being active all day will make clothes damp.
Dry clean clothes will keep you warmer.
