Our October Outing will be the Sterling Hill Mine and Museum – sterlinghillminingmuseum.org

This mine is famous for its zinc ore deposits.

We will tour the museum and spend 1 hour in the mine.

We will also have the opportunity to complete two merit badges, if you complete the pre-work. Geology and Mining in Society Merit Badges can be earned.

Cost will be $40: Camping $10; Mine Tour $10; Grub and Supplies $20
